A subtle and unexpected omage to the wonderous city of Venezia, this design is inspired by the mosiac floors of Basilica di San Marco.
A hand-drawn repeat, each section of the motifs was drawn individually, and without digital repetition. The beautiful peacocks surrounded by intricate vines and vases are encompassed by a modern border, featuring the shapes of peacock's tail feathers arranged in a unique way.
The bold blues and purples lead to an easily wearable colorway, with a unique edge.
